New Yukon Graphite Editions to Debut in 2019

The GMC Yukon brings spacious utility and capable toughness to the full-size SUV segment, but drivers can get a little extra out of the Yukon for the 2019 model year. The two new GMC Yukon Graphite Editions offer owners stylish appearance upgrades and performance tweaks, depending on whether they choose the standard Graphite Edition or the Graphite Performance Edition

The Yukon Graphite Edition features a sleek, dark look to the exterior, with add-ons such as a black chrome grille mesh insert, black chrome fog lamp surrounds, black roof rails and assist steps, and other black accents, as well as 22-inch bright machined wheels.

For the more performance-minded driver, the Graphite Performance Edition takes all of the above and adds an upgraded 6.2-liter V8 engine. It is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, as well as Magnetic Ride Control, gloss-black wheels, a trailer brake controller, active noise cancellation, and enhanced tech and connectivity in the interior.

The GMC Yukon already has a reputation for its upscale style and amenities, and senior marketing manager for GMC Trucks and Full-Size SUVs Stu Pierce is confident the new editions will “[build] on the commanding road presence and inherent capabilities of the Yukon.” The 2019 GMC Yukon Graphite Editions will be available in the U.S. sometime this summer. Benefits of Owning an SUV during the Winter

2018 Buick Model Lineup

Wondering what’s so great about owning an SUV? Here are some reasons why you should become an SUV owner this winter.

All-Wheel Drive Reassurance

AWD is often an available feature on SUVs, but it’s well worth it. AWD systems are diverse and often function in different ways, but they all provide the vehicle with better traction and capability, especially in the snow.

Roomy and Versatile

Have a family? Need to haul luggage around on weekend trips or to extracurricular activities? The versatility in SUVs lets you modify seating arrangements and the size of the cargo bay to adapt to your lifestyle.

Towing Capacity

If you need extra space in a trailer or are bringing watercraft with you to a camping trip, many SUVs, even smaller ones, have some amount of towing capability.

Just Safer Overall

Heavier, with better visibility and toughness, SUVs are just overall safer than smaller vehicles.

Easier Holiday Travel

All of the above comes together to make a vehicle that’s perfect for traveling to see family over the holiday season. Icy roads, packing for the trip, and making sure the kids are comfortable are no match for an SUV.

Owning an SUV in the winter is a great way to have a safer, more capable, and more comfortable trip to see relatives during the holidays. Come to us at Bob Ross Buick GMC to see all of our great SUVs.
